Christian Education

Lifelong Faith Formation

The goals of Christian education at Parker UCC are for kids and adults to grow positive relationships with God, to learn about the Christian way, and to develop a healthy sense of self, trust and belonging in this faith community.

All ages are encouraged to grow and learn - children and families, little ones, youth, and adults.

What To Expect

When you come on a Sunday morning and bring your kids to Parker UCC, you will find excellent and warm volunteers to greet you in our a) nursery room, b) preschool room, and c) school-age classroom, all currently in the Mainstreet Center beginning at 9:45.

We follow a Safer Church policy meaning we value parental access, screened teachers, safe ratios, and open space that limits risk to children. Your kids will enjoy worship and snack time with Eilleen and Sam if they are 3-5, hands-on lessons and learning with Pam and Roger if they are elementary-age, and playtime with rotating volunteers if they are still babies or toddlers.

Parker UCC Youth are guided by Justin and Cindy, into adventures where they explore Parker UCC's distinct values, their own beliefs, and have fun. Youth participate in worship, all-church events, and youth-directed events. We also hold confirmation retreats and vacation Bible studies.

Families are encouraged to join in Family Social Actions, where youth make a difference, whether through distributing goods to Denver's downtown homeless, or helping promote a Fair Trade Fair in Parker.
